Juried IN For UPCOMING Exhibition at the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art (MOPA@ SDMA).

My fine art photo selfie created before there were selfies or iphones has been juried into an exciting MOPA@ SDMA Exhibition that will be open to the public November 9, 2024, through March 9, 2025!

The story of this analog photograph titled, “How Do I Get Out of This Creative Block?” includes a time travel journey with hand developing Black and White film, using an enlarger, and hand printing photographs in one of my many kitchen darkrooms. I created a technique of placing different sheets of rice paper over the photo paper while enlarging the image creating the illusion of paintbrush textures. Afterward, I hand-painted this one using watercolor and oil paint. I am very honored in multiple ways!
